Bought a new Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II lense this afternoon with some of my tax return, gonna have fun with this lense thats for sure! Not too phased that its all plastic, its still well built

I put one of those on order the other day! Have you noticed much of a difference between that and the kit lens?
Oh, and also, I've noticed in some of your earlier pictures they are in black and white except for a specific object in the photo that remains in colour... How did you do that?

Huge difference between it and a kit lense, I have noticed with some of the photos I have taken this evening that the images are indeed sharper, and the DOF is cool
Did you mean like this? All I do is unsaturate all of the colours in Lightroom!
