Personally, I would only use siri in the car. I currently have (on WP7) voice search, dicatation, text-to-speech etc on my phone and its only used in the car. Background noise, public situations and awkwardness steer me away from it.
Would have been nice to see some new features. Not just technology catch up.

I have tried the speech recognition in all my phones and its been fun watching it steadily get better.
Its kind of funny talking to your phone and watching text appear on the screen. Its not the kind of thing I would do in public but im sure we are now going to see a craze of people walking round talking to themselves. I work in a shopping centre and its funny watching people walk around on their phones. I have seen a few people walk into the glass doors out the front of my shop on their phones a few times. Dont walk and text or text and drive for that matter either. But it is funny to watch a drunk walking texter. |

Just finished watching avatar on my phone. Dispite the crappy size for movies the screen is amazing! First animation I've watched so far.but its better than the movie 3D. Trouble is the 4gb file size limitation of fat32. Hopefully the near future brings unlimited file sizes. This will be a base for my car setup. Discovered a handy songs only playlist option in YouTube. Was streaming music off the net then played through the girlfriends cassette deck,.how much has technology changed since 97!

Just saw the talk about Siri I got the iPhone 4S last week, Siri works really well. I've got it set up so when I activate Siri it mutes my cars stereo, lets me talk into the microphone in my car then does whatever I tell it to do
Apart from that, its only real use is showing people some of the quirky things it can do, like suggesting places to hide a dead body etc. If I'm walking by myself with headphones in it doesn't seem too unnatural asking it to play a certain album either |

was driving home before. putting along doing the limit as i should be since im on good behavour. and this idiot in an old dual cab ute full of people. tries to race me.. like WTF?!... so he attempts it a few times and then i go to turn left at the "turn left at any time" lane and he pulls up behind me.. as i come out he floors it out and goes around me.. WTF again!!! really annoying the fact that he's an idiot and is a reckless driver. there was a cop coming opposite direction but he was 10 seconds too late to see the idiot do those things... i hope karma kicks him in the ass soon
well got that off my chest

Been watching my 3 and 6 year old nephews to give my brother a sleep in. Weetbix mess, milk spills light sabre come punch up battles, the whole bit. Got them all gee'd up to wash the car this arvo, it sounds dangerous but they are so eager to please they hang off every bit of advice... Or maybe its the trip to the shop afterwards, lolly isle, that makes them try so hard!
