Bought myself a 60" Plasma on boxing day. Supposed to be delivered between 9am and 11am today, waiting.......... Rang the courier company at 12 and was told it'd be another 20 to 30 minutes, waiting.............
Lucky for me the heavy old CRT had a narrow edge (30ish mm) around the screen and I was able to slide it to the back room on the edge. Still waiting..........

- pulling down the (live) Christmas tree
- sorting the wardrobes and throwing out clothes - sorting through the spare room which has become the 'crap' room - pulling on a million loads of washing ...and this is what holidays are for

Well the day started out like a B&B with Bacon and eggs cooked for me and 3 choices of papers to read. Then the guy who I'm working for got up and we headed to his house we're working on. Punched down every single nail on this qlder with hardwood panelling. That was hard work. Did some work on a granite kitchen bench then spent the rest of the day with an angle grinder and loads of sanding disks and didn't even finish one side. My arms back and hands are rooted. Hard worn but the countryside is so beautiful and the weather is perfect I don't want to leave! Back to work tomorrow then I'll cone back to brissy to build a new deck. So that's my holidays. Haha.
