Is that the bg rack in there? It seems really narrow in the guts like a nonpowered rack? |

Hey man.
Yer that is a non power steered rack off a BG. Waiting for my adaptor plate to get a bolt tig welded to it and then it's time to put the motor in

except, they cause more problems than good
MX-5s typically have clutch master cylinders go bad because of two reasons: 1) fluid isn't circulated enough to get the rubbish out of the rubber parts (clutch line pressures are much lower, so less fluid moved) 2) fluid isn't changed often enough the shared reservoirs used in a 323 and FD RX-7 allowed for much more reliable clutch hydraulics... it's sad but true... a cost cutting method that turned out to be beneficial

Hey Matt, your little crank trigger has blue/pink/black wires, do you know what is what? Ihave diagrams for later mx5s but they are different, I could guess?
Did you get yours wired up to the adap? |

Update time
SO yesterday I woke up and said "FU@K IT, im working on my motor today. and this is what happened.. Pulled the engine off the engine stand so i could put the rear main seal. yes that right i broke the head off a bolt what holds on the rrear main seal casing. lucky for me this isnt the first time its happened to me and i had some easy-out and was able to remove the broken thread from my block Attached the adaptor place and flywheel. Now this was the fun part.. as the setup for the cluthc erquires not spigot bearing in the flywheel (this is due to the toyota box design) it made getting the box on alot harder. I ended up putting the motor on its crank, and myself and my room mate took a good hr to wiggle the box on.. its such a tight fit but got there in the end.. As you can see from the above photos i still have to make the layshaft bracket (which im in the process of making atm) then i can put them motor in the engine bay for the first time
