Either way, lose the lift kit if you can stomach a harder ride and thats a good start.
it will be good 4 a starting piont till i can get a corksport shipped in

yes lift kit is a must. i'd go the bc coilovers as on the softest setting they are softer than my ebaci springs

No honesty there mate, just someone enjoying ranting off about someones car.

but i left it open, so i'll just ignore it.

yeah it can use some work, Bj's are not grannys cars. I am here to mod it, with advice from a few folk here who know what their doing.

I dont use or need cars to attract chics

It's wasn't an SP20, just a kitted 1.8 BJII-J48 with great suspension and hot cams. It's gone now anyhow.

I was completely honest.

You made reference to being single and that your car maybe "gay looking" as being the protential problem for that. You can edit your posts all you want, but everyone has read it and knows it was there before the edit.

Either I was a help or a wasn't. It's up to you to take or not take the advice given my any members on here. But don't ask a question, looking for complete honesty, and then have a hissy fit when you receive that honesty.

/end rant.

Mod the car how you wish, as it all boils down to is that its your car...

lol.
Any car could be a grannys car. I think its more of a saying. Just like how ppl think mx5s and mr2s are hairdressers cars....

You cant post up something as silly as this thread an not expect a little grief. If you wanted to be taken serioiusly maybe rethink your thread titles longer than the 2 seconds it took to come up with this joke of a title....

I agree with Ryan that BJs are somewhat granny-spec. I mean, the BG and BA astinas looked like nothing else in their class and were reasonably sporty, whereas the BJ largely represents a return to white-goods motoring. The Astina's 'SP' status in the BJs is limited to the SP20, which retains the sporty looks (bodykit and interior) and sound, while the 1.6 and 1.8 are just like any other hatch of the time.

That said though, you can definitely make them look good. Gav's one on the previous page is testament to that.

What you have to realise is that our cars in there hey days were around $20,000 or thereabouts, making them affordable for the older generation, hell my grandparents in the past 15years have owned a BG, then a BA hatch, a BHA protege and now have a KQ Laser, and are in there 70's...

Gee i wish i bought my BA hatch from you, it was $28,000 NOT including on road with aircon (shades model) and no its not a v6

By the time i added on road costs, 6 stacker audio, v6 strut brace, Mags, extractors and full custom exhaust it was closer to 31k

The V6 worked out about $6k dearer

Maybe if you're so insecure you should change your location to Narnia and name to Mr. Tumnus

Audi A3
Evo 8

Personally i think its the rims and ride height.

Lower it, Sp20 kit or get a lip for it if you want to.
