Yep, the parkers are just 5W bayonet bulbs. They look the same as taillight bulbs but only have one filament + one contact on the bottom.

for reference the BJs and assumingly SP20s: high beam + low beam (all in 1 globe) are H4 (get the 50% more light w/ the xenon gas which produces a whiter light) and parkers are W5W.

yeah dan is right the parkers are BA5w, however this is not a common size for parkers, as the orginal globe/socket for the parkers were actually indicators for the JDM market. |

I was hopin for a replacement soon, as one of my parkers was dead.. confuses me anyone help me out plz? and im hoping for a blue coloured light/globe that would fit there if anyone knows of any! I just replaced the numberplate lights and roof lights with nice lil w5w extra blue/white lights nice and clear and bright too!

here's a tip ....
DON'T BUY THE BLUE TINTED BULBS! Bloody dangerous! Almost had an accident in my 96 BA cause I couldn't see the road properly. Pulled them out the next day and took them back! Go the 30+ |

Please help
hi guys i'm new here... very noob with astina stuff
I've got a 94 Hatch Astina... just bought it not long ago... is it much different taking off the globes compared to the hardtop (i've seen the thread showing me how to do it) and... from your knowledge... What globes do i need to replace the low beams with? H1? or H3? for my car. How do i find out wat series it is? One more question... a bit off topic tho... where do i put the brake fluid in... because my BRAKE alert is on and i think its running low on break fluid. Thanks for your time guys... |

brake fluid is at the back of the engine bay, drivers side from memory, black cap. it'll have brake fluid on the cap (clutch too if its a manual)
i think the hatch has H3 bulbs for lows from memory. check the lights themselves for confirmation (or pull one out and take it in with you, don't touch the glass though!)

If your brake warning light is on then first check the brake pads are not worn down. Changing them will force fluid back into the reservoir fixing the light.
