16" is a good compromise but it can limit your wheel choice.

More or less. Slightly better but lower it anyway. Cant go wrong with a lower suspension matched with low profile tires. You'll love the handling gains.

that looks better than the huge empty guards i have atm..
cosmo how does it limit my wheel choice as such? its more the 4 studs that limit it

Most wheels are either stock replacements or bigger flashier rims. 16" falls between the two. I don't feel the need to go bigger as the vast majority of race cars don't have low profile tyres.

True, i find it's always hard to tell until you see a set of rims actually on a car with the tyres. I'm liking 4 the more that i look at it.
But whatever skitz says is wrong

hey Davo, I only checked th 17 Inch Packages - Shadow/Gold/Silver. I don't like the chrome look....!! Their prices are quite competitive, ranging from $900-1200 with tyres. They probably have more at the showroom....just need to make a trip to tempe & check out what they got . Like Rupewrecht said it might be bit hard to tell by looking at a pic until you see the actual rims on the car. The pics I selected are the once I like or the designs i like

thats very true as i just recently bought new ones and i went to EVERY shop in canberra and was an ass and held up over 30 different rims next to my car (only 1 chrome set to laugh at) before i found the ones i loved... and the ones that i saw on the net when i looked at them in the flesh i was almost sick

those packages are not so great, they come with $80 nankang NS-II tyres. waste of money. spend the extra $200 and get some good rubber. you'll thank me for it later.
ryan p.s. i vote for no. 1 wheel |

with tyres the general rule is the more you spend the better the performance, however saying that my dad's alfa has $250 yoko's on it and they are truely s**thouse. they let go at the worst times and just arent worth the money, my $110 tyres from bob jane are better for grip and comfort..
look around the forums, not just this one, and ask. i've been hearing some good feedback on the middle range dunlops atm
