I tired yesterday on the way to Tafe (traffic gridlock) and yeah was a bit better but certainly could not chuck it into first at 50. It still requires force to get in there. Higher speed more force lower speed less force until it becomes like any other gear.

When u have the car in Neutral between changes, foot off clutch, redline the throttle, clutch and into gear she goes, if you time it well, wont be any crunch whatsoever. Take your time, it takes a while to get the hang of it. Soon you'll be double clutching with the best of them.
50kph - 1st gear - about 6000rpm. Rough guide but should see you through. Important to blip the throttle only when your foot is off the clutch otherwise you aint doing much.

Really, you shouldn't need to move into first at the sort of speed/rpm!

I thought there was a lockout for above 40km or something. I only downshift to first
around 20km even then its easier to simply stop memntarily downshift and take off.

I hear ya brother,

shall try giving it a bit more of a rev while in neutral see how that goes,

50 kph is fine in second, its not speed I am after simply smoother traffic driving,

Thanks dudes,

Hey guyz,

After a long decision, i decided to go with a Astina v6, honestly, ive own'd a Galant 94, Pulsar 96, Bluebird Turbo 94 & Astina 94, and the astina by far is the best of the 4, after i sold my Astina V6 (Noble Green Colour) i decided to go with White one.

Next up is :
1. Alarm System
2. Wheels
3. Lowering
4. Stereo (Maybe Not 100% sure yet maybe last)
5. White 2006 Lexus Pearl paint job
6. Harlqin Bonnet colour
7. And if all go's well and i have enough money engine conversion !

Many thanks to you all for your feedback, really helped alot !
