i just did this mod to my car today, did it with the red sleeves over the existing bulbs. i must say i am very happy with the result

the back of the guage faces have a green coat on them to emit a green light still

yeah in the tut i have put how to get that off....simply pull off and sand, while making sure you have everything marked...fuel, temp etc...

Just thought i would let every one know that id you pull the needles off like i did sand the faces then put them back on it the spedo and tacho wont read corrctly but there is a shop in brookvale NSW called manly auto instrument repairs that can re calibrate your tacho and spedo for $40 got mine done today

it is good info and beautiful idea to change. As someone not good in wiring and first time to do this. (like myself).
I need more info and pic during the process. like how do you set the needle and unscrew the guages. may be more picuture is better. Thanks |
