Add 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust. Good for another 5-15kW and will allow you to run the higher boost you require.
Maybe some RDA sloted front rotors for stopping powah? |

yep, was thinking dba slotted with those qfm a1 pads i've seen on here. i'm used to greenstuff pads and they look similar in temp loads so should be good. also some motul rbf600 fluid. i used that in my falcon and it never boiled even under all that weight. the greenstuffs faded first.

it's also got a boot mounted battery and a 4 Puck Cerimic-Metallic Sprung Centre Clutch. really nice clutch, weighted enough underfoot to allow smooth transition, but grippy enough to spin second in anger.
i'm used to buying cars off the net with a spec list, so this is kind of like xmas finding out what's what. |

thin gear teeth + turbo twisting force + sudden clamping jolts = tears

he's not. BPTs eat F-series boxes. make sure you get a G-series next time around

intercooler came in today, really happy with the size. its short but long and 2" outlets are going to make the piping nice and small too. i'm probably going to mount up the intercooler tonight or tomorrow and when i'm happy with location i'll get 2 custom pipes made up. still waiting on the turbotech bleed valve i ordered on Friday...
and a size comparison shot. cutesy springs to mind. |

and now the turbotech bleed valve is in, perfect. this is definitely going in tonight and the boost will get wound up to about 10psi i reckon with the side mount. then about 13psi when the intercooler gets hooked up.

went out and ripped off the turbosmart and put on the turbotech. took it for a few runs with a mate to tune the boost and its holding 10psi precisely. these turbotech bleed valves are fantastic. the boost comes on earlier and harder, its at 10psi by 3000rpm and theres no bleed off right up to the redline. the tyres let go in first at 5000rpm. its crazy quick now, can't wait till i get the intercooler on!

ok, back from Tirepower at Brendale, the R1Rs are on and the aligner was a kiwi with 3 rally winning familia's under his belt, so to speak. i said wanted tarmac rally/motorkhana settings and he changed the rear toe to nearly 0 degrees but set the rest to what he put on the rally cars. and its amazing. all the settings are very even left to right, so it does pull on the road a little depending on surface, but its definitely one of the best alignments i've ever had.
i can put the power down mid corner and the tyres hardly spin, before there was understeer entering a corner at 40kph, now theres none at 60kph. the tail follows the front exceptionally well and theres no hint of snap oversteer on lift off. i'm definitely taking it back there for alignments. ask for Riggen if you end up there, top shelf!
