^^ here here ^^ more power often means more headaches, & wallet aches Big HP must be done right for success. The limit for me on the 1.6L will be a Garrett GT25R if I go EMS. Maybe the VF10 hybrid if I don't? Turbos are the easiest real HP for money application you can go but it has to be done right. Sensible, not overdone

The more I think about it, the turbo you are using familiaGTX is proly a god size for nice, low-down pep & good mid-range power! Keep the updates coming as it gets kinda boring with the you know.....CAI stuff with 1kw power increase

will do..

fitting 440cc top feed wrx injectors today.

having a camshaft sync sensor fitted to read off the intake camshaft gear. A dedicated signal for the ems ecu, so we can fool the standard ecu thinking that its still controlling the engine so all the features like tacho, air con control, alternator charging behave normally

and we will control the engine ignition and fuel plus VICS etc... with the ems

I dont think that having ooodles of power is everything (unless you're Jeremy Clarkson lol). That said, Im considering turbo but will limit my expectations for hp in order to keep things reliable and at a reasonable cost.

Keep up the good work!! Pity you kept the radiator and a/c condensor
If you do id be interested in your 4-2-1 header

@OP id be careful of joining the zoom zoom boom club. Stock pistons/rods and stock psi are weak, its only a matter of time.

update.

- installed wrx 440cc top feed injectors, replacing the stock non turbo injectors

- swapped the cam gears around today as we modified the exhaust gear with grinding the 3 tabs and drilling and tapping a bolt head at TDC, so the new ecu knows when to fire. So now the original intake cam gear is now the exhaust cam gear and restored the original sensor, so the non turbo ecu will have a rpm signal and now pretend its running the show.

- we have moved the modified exhaust cam gear to the intake and purchased another camshaft sync sensor and have modified the rocker cover and added a 2nd camshaft sync sensor dedicated to the ems stinger ecu

once the timing belt is back together and covers back on, we'll fire it up tomorrow and if no further mods are required, it is scheduled to hit the dyno tomorrow afternoon for continue tuning
