eh yeah harrigans is OKAY but agt's been there, done that and it's the typical place to go.....there's nicer places in the hunter that are cheaper, like u said one of the vineyards and good work for suggesting!! and A BIG MASSIVE HEEELLLO WELCOME to ya
u know, the newcastle to sydney via windsor DOES sound very exciting! hmmm i likies! will investigate further into that idea.....

Yeah, theres also an awesome pittstop along the way, its the Halfway house as it's half way between Windsor and Pokolbin (Pokolbin state forest is a nice place, we went hunting there once, but were Hunting declared zones are allocated its all extremely steep cliff hahaha, I enjoyed the four wheel driving though). It's a fairly large petrol station with an awesome restaurant, pricey but that's what you get on the road. around $5 for a hamburger with everything, and I mean EVERYTHING there was a stick through the middle to keep it all together. It was a memorable experience that burger haha.
It's a really really nice scenic drive, Bikies love it out there too for all the twists and turns along some of the way so I imagine the AGTers would love it too, it's very pretty indeed. I'm happy to hear you like the idea Red Frog, I REALLY have to get my P's - I don't think I can fail next week.

I did Macquarie pass once, and got held up on the way up, and then got held up on the way down later. Most enjoyable... Atleast I didn't have to worry about brakefade...

Looks like we have a few ideas thrown into the hat so lets get serious about this cruise and what do we want..
A Drive and lunch to suit all members....so lets make it a good day out and have a nice lunch to boot. Janet and I haven't been upto the Hunter for ages so I would be all for that... I would love to tagalong on the OMC cruise with some of you guys as it might be fun on a personal note but sadly (cough cough) Janet and I will be holidaying in Singapore. So lets get our thinking caps on and I will promote this cruise on Ozmazda.com (ZB's new home) for a great turn out. As the Mrs ZB's Astina is ready to roll......

Fantastic response guys! sozza but was in qld over the weekend learning lotsa cruizing tips from all those crazy/gorgeous AGT boys lol so haven't had a chance to sit down and figure this 1 out yet!
we're prob now looking at a mid october cruise, as atm i am extremely overwhelmed at work w/ way too much on my plate BUT regardless! i'm an aussie battler and i will bring you a great mid-year cruise thanks so much dave for ur enthusiasm!! this weekend, i will sit down and throw together a few dates and a more defined route. atm the hunter stands as the most popular, so i will go with this including a few extra options along the way. stay patient my friends, and i will endeavour to do my best to organise a great day out X Leigh
