clips definitely the way to go... tape doesn't hold well in the long term... I have heard of people have theirs sag and start to fall off even after using lots of good quality 3M double sided tape... it just doesn't work!
if mazda decided you need clips, you need clips... otherwise, they could've saved themselves the few dollars in production costs!

I'm looking for a bell housing from a HC 929/Luce V6 5-speed manual.
Yes they exist even though all AUDM, AFAIK, were 4 speed auto so I'm looking for OS sources probably NZ. The most obvious local resources have received enquiries.

I wanna change the fuel filters on the sp20. So I assume the pump comes off and the pick up/float comes off old body and goes onto a new body? Is there any other small items like O-rings or seals needed from mazda?

Does anybody know if the bjs with a single din head unit come with the support bar? I have been told you can't get these from Mazda anymore.

Yes they are a direct fit in to a sp20 no need for spacers
Can run a 215x35 or 40r18 or a 225x35 r18

The Cx-7 had many rims, 17" 18" and 19" early and late. The offset will be marked on the rim.

I don't think so.... not that I recall... the mazdaspeed catalogue showed them to be different... I'm pretty sure the CP ones are longer
BUT because the CP is based on the BJ, every suspension parts interchanges with the BJ.... you can take struts and springs meant for the CP and bolt them onto a BJ with no problems..... handling and ride height issues are a different story... nobody tried them, so I don't know it's kind of like swapping forester/impreza suspension parts between the two cars lol... I've seen that done... it looks weird lol
