Today was a special day for me:

It was so perfect as well, it clicked over just as I came to stop at a red light I did the timing belt at 92K so hopefully its all smooth sailing from here.

I've just swapped over to my track rims for a bit so I can get used to the new tyres.

the RE001 is bloody grippy for a 195, almost as much grip as my 215 Toyos

also it has a good stiff sidewall, gives nearly as much feel as my 17's do with not much flex in cornering.

really impressed.

btw, that's comparing my 215/45/17 Toyo Proxes4 to my new/used 195/55/15 Bridgestone Adrenalin RE001

Opened some mail to day

Stuff from RUPE. TOP MAN . Love the badges and stuff.

US_ number plate - MX6 on it interesting don't remember when I bid on it but I must have.

My Thomas the Tank Engine Activity Set finally arrived.
Don't ask !

Oh and found out Zoom want to shoot my mates R31.

so other then the Roosters being knocked out of the Finals ( not unexpected actually)

Not too bad.

Better than the Hankook's I had too.... but that was probably because they were just above legal

Yikes narrowly missed a defect today I think!

Driving around, a police on a motorcycle did a u-turn to follow me. Went down a side street & the atmo BOV whooshed a bit (wasn't driving all that hard), then as I was turning into driveway of my local mechanics workshop I looked into the mirror & saw the copper right behind me...

Ironically I was going to the mechanic to have a new recirculting BOV put on.. Legal BOV now, but sheesh was that close.

Car now performs even better with a recirc BOV

Installed B&M short shifter, better shift linkage bushings, and a new short-shifter boot today at Gav's. Well mostly installed (few little things to tidy up still but that is usually the case when I mod the car )

Shifts are nice and clean now, and much shorter The height of the shifter hasnt changed much which is good. I didn't notice too much additional vibration too.

All in all, happy with the purchase
