Rupe has the same injen for sale, check his for sale thread in his trader area.
Just had another looksie before, I have exactly the same intake as what you first posted up, the Simota twin charger CAI. Was originally fitted to a 1.8L, so it does fit.

from 2500-5500 you really feel it, and the roar it puts out is nice

why not have both? sounds mean as, a rumble from one end, and a vacuum cleaner down the other

If you do get it, welcome to the hoover club

2.5 is massive on a 1.8 man.
i got 2 1/4 and thats about as big as youd go on a 1.6/1.8 an even some 2.0

I even think 2.25" is too big, I mean it gives some good gains, its the droniness in my system that bugs me... 2" would be optimal for a 1.8L auto, and NO CANNON!!!

i *think* mine maybe 2.5", but its crush bent. Lost a little power low down, but high end picked up a lot.

I need to look at making a better CAI, ditch the standard airbox & piping for some SS and a nice pod up behind the bumper (out of engine bay = no problems )

2 1/4 press bent ' should ' be ok on a stock 1.8 with extractors, pod filter and CAI. 2 1/2 you most likely gone a little large and lost a bit of low down torque but would have gained a little up top of the rev range.
