umm keeping in mind that the mx5 guys are there (numbers???) wouldn't it be best if we keep the whole day open? i don't mind travelling early on saturday, just let me know!!!
i wanna be home monday night, so i might be able to get a bit of work anyway (while its a public holiday!!) mmm pizza and will feel good driving with the official hp figure (just so i know how i'm affecting pizza with inertia) hehe, btw when you switch states you switch driving conditions.... red P's here are 90, green are 100, no p's *hint* are 110 p plates must be displayed in NSW too it will probably be less than that all up, but i prefer to oversompensate sydney traffic!!!

Only a four hour drive, I was looking at leaving before 4am to get to Camberra by lunch time and I was contemplating traveling a little too quickly (but safely) for the first three hours (while Mr Plod sleeps) before backing off to about 10 over for the rest of the journey.
Have not decided on route yet, Hume is a pain for me to get to while the Princess and Monaro Hwys will be slower with less fixed speed cameras. If you speed and get cought it's you own fault

yes, but andrew what i'm saying is that your meant to affix plates to your car on entering the state!! ignorance may get you off, but its $50 per plate ie front and back, and 1 point for none.... something to chew over... i used to drive without mine, but what you do is your own thing.... k?

thanks for all the advise guys about the p plates . I went down to sydney over the xmas hols and drove some of the way. i checked it up before i left and it is a condition of the nsw licence, not driving in NSW that means they have to travel at 90 or 100 or whatever it is, where as qld licences holders can travel at the speed limit. as for p plates on the car ..... well dont get pulled over and we wont have a problem. I only have 3 points left so i dont intend on going to quickly but saying that when have i ever stuck to a speed limit!!!! hehe well i will cya's all there.
