so the october november would that be more around the october long weekend? because then you queenslander can admire daylight savings other wise easter

Does it have to be on a public holiday??
We are more likely to get a group booking discount if we book off peak season. I have no issue with taking a day or two off work for this either. |

Alright then...use the Australia day bit for any time between Aussie day and late Feb. Deal??

I put the October/November option in for 2013, 2.5mths isnt a lot of time to get everything organised, paid for and everyone get time off work.
For some of us, its coming up to Wedding weekends, eg I have 3 weddings, various bucks & birthdays all in the next 2months

I think best bet is to just lock in a date in late jan-early feb. We're just going to have to choose a weekend. It will never work out to suit everyone. Choose a date and run with it.

Wedding season seems to be all year round for me at this stage. Once a month it seems. But I say give it another two weeks and Ben, since you're keen and seem to have time to burn, why not start looking at places you'd like to go and get some costs of accommodation! Looking forward to it. Made good progress today.

Hey look a 2 month old thread i just stumbled upon........
Id be keen for this, Easter Long weekend is out for me though, usually go camping with friends. The place you have mentioned is only just under 5 hours from me, I can put in for time off if need be |
