Actually, after looking at the memberlist, there doesn't seem to be too many active members that could join a cruise.
I was thinking about a NSW area get together(not excluding those people that wanna come from interstate). From places like Sydney/newcastle/wollongong/canberra/the coast and organise a weekend to meet up, maybe in sydney, stay overnight or more. Then cruise around town and/or trips down the gong or up to new castle, maybe even a afternoon at the strip/dyno(??:???) or just relaxing like karting or somethin'. And we'd give advanced notice for people to get their act together and push other people to join in . So we'd get a good turn out of about 30 or more cars. This maybe hard now that I think about it. PS. sorry if i've missed something similar to this topic, i'm a noob

well i'd like to see as many ppl as possible. the aussie day weekend seams to be the best sort of time due to the public holiday, although it is on wednesday next year. i'd be able to get the monday and tuesday off from work to make it a real good very long weekend.
and since we have the dyno challenger mid year, that was why i suggested a drag racnig showdown at the start of the year |

I think we need a consensus on the date/time of year. how's the 18th/19th december sound?!? or the australia day long weekend, up in sydney.
This is just a suggestion, i'm hoping someone with more status on the forum can make a decision.

I'm cool with most things around in the nsw area, just given enough notice. If the cruise is in newcastle, how far is that away from canberra or sydney?!?
I would be cool if theres a big turn out, I would more like to meet people from the forum cos my car isn't a looker, not dissing cruisin' or anything...

I am pretty happy with most of NSW for a cruise. Sorry this is prolly my first post after rejoining the forums.
Mizda: Newcastle is less than 2 hours drive north of Sydney, so about 5hrs north of Canberra. I am sad that I missed the last Newcastle cruise, I have family there and lived there for 10+ years. Love Newcastle.

How did the last newcastle cruise work i heard that the turnout was pretty big and would love to be a part of the next newcastle cruise. Also if you guys need any help arranging things in newcastle or want to know some good roads for the cruise to travel on. I am all to happy to help as i live about 15mins away from newcastle and more than happy to help set up the annual cruise. By the way did the last cruise venture out to the vineyards as the roads out there are alot of fun to drive on and there is the opportunity to do some wine testing.

A massive cruise would be mad. 5 hours is along drive, i'd prefer sydney better, but if there's gonna be a huge turn out, i'll be there.
