All I have to ask is do you have it insured?

I asked about that, she has contents, and I've got a ton of photos and stuff of what's there. And a note signed as to what she has witnessed being there. I couldn't imagine they would take anything but the tools, maybe the seats. the rest isn't worth the effort without breaking it. She works at home most days, so I'm hoping it'll be ok. And no, you can't have the address haha.

My amp arrived for the car on friday so parents brought it down with them.

Just need to get a shallow firing sub and maybe some front/rear splits (rather spend the money on going fast tbh).

Bought some more soldering iron & amp from Supercheap this afternoon, and installed the 4 speakers into the bluebird. Kinda wishing I didnt buy the amp kit now cause I dont think im gonna be running a sub, the stereo is loud enough!

Maybe the laser will get the amp/woofer

Spent a few hours in the garage today. Unplugged and cleared the looms, removed front panels, radiator, ac stuff, battery, air intake, various vacuum hoses and started on the cv joints.

Elly came and got her hands dirty too.

And yes, that's the car which will be getting the conversion... Just took the panels off so I wouldn't ruin them!

I just know that every fuel hose and connector is tight and day, so the fuel I'm smelling has to be coming out of the exhaust right?
Have you upgraded the fuel pump? Most tanks have an o-ring seal (or similar flat gasket) on the pump assembly, if thats in dodgy condition or not seated right you smell petrol right through the car, especially on decel where theres more fuel being returned.

Friend of mine was using a skyline fuel cap in his 180, turned out it didn't seal 100% correct and at certain speeds you could smell fuel.

Heaps of places the smell could be coming from and not all at the front

Yeh I've got a Walbro in-tank replacement fuel pump. And I've lifted the rear seat and can't smell any fuel around the tank cap. I took the pressure back up to 35psi yesterday and it feels fine and I haven't smelt any fuel yet.

Why choose a lower than stock pressure, doesn't that.sort of defeat the purpose of an adjustable one?

Well because my fuel rail is over twice the diameter of the stock one, and a dual feed setup, a higher pressure shouldn't be needed I thought.

Eh that would be fine for volume but wouldn't the spray pattern be affected due to lower pressure?

Possibly yes. OK, I'll put it back up to 38psi. You are all making me paranoid now.

Getting a Wideband O2 will give you a better idea of how the burning process is going. Wont know exactly how well the mixture is spreading throughout the cylinder but itll be better then nothing.

Good call, I'd forgotten about wideband as I just lumped that in with a new ECU. But I could definitely get one of those Innovate LC-1 kits and just program the output to match the factory signals to the ECU and a full wideband output to my gauge. Too many good ideas, I'm going broke!

Actually, can anyone compare the Innovate LC-1 to something like the AEM UEGO? Both seem to have positive and negative reviews, with the plus of the LC-1 being refresh rate and the plus of the UEGO is that it's all inside the gauge and comes with said gauge for about $20 more than most LC-1 kits. Only downside I've seen was from the Innovate in that it's quality seems a bit hit and miss.
