Just drove down to Uni with the new Nardi on...it's amazing how much feel steering wheel covers hide. I feel it's easier to get to the indicators/wiper switches now too.
One thing that rustles my jimmies though, if you get sweaty or damp hands easily like I do the hard leather isn't 100% friendly. The cover was better in that regard but the Nardi is still leagues ahead. Gonna fix the rest of it up tonight. |

Yeah I use a cover on my steering wheel myself. Mainly for summer.
Also has the added bonus of making the steering wheel bulkier for those of us who don't have female hands.

Awesome derb! I love rc stuff. It took me three hours to clean my sump and block. I'm a bit anal though... Yeah I'm sure there is a smart reason why its insulated but I figure I'd rather have an airbag with plugs which don't break under pressure... Enjoy! Also don't scratch the front of it. And I'll swap if you don't mind haha. Looking for a centre.

Just finished fitting the wheel. Clean_Cookie's guide is pretty much on the dot except there's a couple of steps he missed. I'll make a guide later.
Bulb for the rear high tail light of a BA hardtop is a Repco R562. Can't remember the rating so I'll have to go back out to check it. Pretty sure it's a W21W. |

Wouldn't it be a BAY15D and/or P21/5W depending on how you like to name your globes?

Spent ages with Matt removing tape from the i4 looms and removed the fusebox loom from the engine along with pressure plate, intake manifold exhaust manifold and alternator. On the wiring front we figured a few things out regarding relays abs power wires, but are stuck without more gtx info. Going through the interior loom tracing wires now.

Purchased some QFord shifter bushes & Ford Escape front endlinks, so hoping they arrive mid next week along with my o2 extension cable (which is apparently in the country)..

Bought front strut brace/rear sway bar/camber bolts/castor adjustors.
Fitted the strut brace... The difference in turn-in is astronomical. Pieces of ****ty road that made my car feel like origami before feel like nothing now. I have this strange feeling that one of the strut bolts were loose so fixing that probably made a difference as well. Can't wait to fit the sway bar tomorrow! |

Rear strut bar sounds interesting, any reason why you didn't install it? Also any chance that you've got a lower front bar as well? |
