the car bounces back and stays upright, its only when you are on the road its very jittery. I have had it before with King Springs in other cars, get over 75,000 and they sag and the arse end feels wobbly...

I think I will just replace springs for the time being, and if the shocks need replacing, i'll replace them at the next service (January)

Thinking of Buying a Vtec engine and throwing it in?

Cost of the parts? Cost of the labour ? Performance wise

Thankyou

yeah im thinking of getting a GE turbine and throwing it in....
seriusly tho apart from the engine/gearbox you will need following custom made parts

mounts for both engine and box
driveshafts (completly made pretty much)
all new engine managment (u will prob never wire in the stock ecu so u will need something like haltech commandor that can do everything standalone)
a good tuner to make it turn on letalone run
a hell of a engineering certificate
new exhaust
new intake
among other things

all in all it is cheaper to turbo it

yer tonys right. alot of work. at the end of the day it depends on what you want.
i remember a guy got a quote for putting a Vtec in a non vtec civic was like $5500.
so it woud probly be more.
that did include everything and custom stainless extractors and stainless spoon exhaust system

from any jap import yard. Motor is from a gtx or gtr familia, but most peps get there bpt's from the gtx.

Also, you will need the g series box as the f series box is a little to frgaile, not that g series will blow too... The box from the front cut can not be used as its 4wd..

There is a full stickied thread on the conversion on here, use the search button...

...Or from a local KF/KH TX3, but you will get the low output ECU [117kW vs 134kW].
