He still has a Mazda and still works for them.
He is just not getting a FS-ZE as he is selling his BA Astina and has purchased a Mazda Bravo B2500 Turbo Diesel as it is a more suitable car for his needs. He is also willing to help everyone with their engine swaps. |

Ok all boys and girls, I have decided to be nice and open this up to all cars from all states. (Not just Mazdas as Im now getting Nissan parts as well.)
If anyone else needs/wants an engine/parts for their car you have about 10 days to decide! The engines are going to be shipped here end april/early may. I can arrange shipping from here to anywhere in Australia. If you are interested send me a PM and I will give you prices. I can also arrange for the engine to be directly shipped to you as well which should work out cheaper as your not paying two lots of shipping. For those interested we have the FS-ZE swap all figured out now. |

The more the merrier I say, cause it'll mean it'll be cheaper! *shrugs*

The first one marc. Also how's the import duties etc work out Phil with a few engines and I assume a professional wrecker will have to get them packed for you?

Duties and taxes will be sorted out by my brokers I think it's like 11% duties or something.. I forget these things.
having multiple engines coming into BNE will cost basically the same as just getting one hence why I wasn't going to bother if others weren't gonna get one. |

They all have to be steam cleaned before they are packed as well.
Import duties is the only part I haven't been able to figure out. As each person will be purchasing below the AUD $1000 GST limit they should be exempt from the import duties. How ever as they are coming in one package there may be a 10% import duty on the total. How ever if they are bought in as one and each person does their own paper work for customs etc we 'maybe' able to get around the import duty. Im going to make some calls in the morning, and if anyone who works in importing knows more than I do please feel free to offer advice. |

We'll talk about it tomorrow night I think it'll be easier & cheaper to do it as one shipment as opposed to several but I'll talk to my customs brokers tomorrow and see what they think will be the best option.
