I just did the search, and figured that was close enough. Farken... I don't want to spend 30mins looking just to ask a simple question. |

Personally I don't believe that The Stig is one person. He is more of a concept that any race driver who fits the overalls and helmet can be The Stig.
It would also add some plausible deniability to their identity as no one can be in two places at the same time.

Granted there may be additional Stigs for public appearances and international events, but surely there is one main Stig used for the shows local test track? Otherwise the lap time tests would have no relevance if driven by different drivers.

How can you replace 'The Stig' when he is an idea.
Oh well you would probably believe that 'Sam Newman' media sob story just before the footy show returns. It's about ratings...

I dont follow that gay afl crap to worry about him, but Sam Newman is a douche bag anyways...
Have a gander at an article/blog I found on the bbc topgear website about the whole "ousting stig"... http://transmission.blogs.topgear.co...ig-he-is-ours/

I agree with Rod on this one, The Stig is an mask/image. Wear the suit and helmet, and you become him.

So Last night we saw the airing of the TG UK vs AUS Ashes, and although cheating was happening left right and centre, I didnt mind it!
The new hosts Shane Jacobson (aka Kenny the LOO man) & Ewen Page (Editor in Chief for TGA magazine) are a lot more suited then the other 2 douchebags, so hopefully they can pull it off! Look forward to watching next weeks episode
