Two random questions
1. What do people think of the comfort of their BA Astina Series 3 seats if you have them? 2. For the guys running BPTs, what your average fuel consumption per 100km?

1. Very comfy, hold a little better against latteral g forces compared to P1 and P2 seats.
2. Most guys with BPTs say 9-11L per 100km. All depends on the set ups I guess. BPT owners will be able to tell you more acurately. |

lol tony. ya u can get great fuel econ from them. so long as u don't boost everywhere.. dave used to get 600+ out of his tank. on city driving. but now he gets a little less. (due to injectors and running a 13flat quarter mile )

I think i get about 13L/100km, from a vague memory
About 350kms out of tank (with a rich tune and a lead foot and mostly short trips in suburban traffic), but just under 600 on the highway. All depends how you drive it.

that sucks, im getting around the 11L/100km without any aircon stupid POS engine. only reason i dont drive with aircon is because i cant, it stalls. mmm me thinks i need a trip to a mechanic, and maybe a wreckers for a new engine

You guys need more breathing. I get 600km from adding 42-45L at fill. So 7.0-7.5L per 100km. Both engines I've had in the Astina this year got these figures.
Put on the lighter weight MS-01Rs and it gets better again. But only by 30km per tank. Currently have 1/8 tank left and 517km on the clock. And that included the skidpan day. |

the stalling is the IAC valve. black tube looking thing with a plug and wires hanging off it. (under the TB on a BA.)
