Saw derb coming out of the city through Spring Hill on College Road yesterday afternoon, just after 5pm

Also spotted half a dozen Transport inspectors checking cars on Murphy Road just near Chermside this morning

I have heard QLD transport is about to do a huge HID check as they are getting sick of all the complaints.
Any car caught with them will be raped by transport inspectors.

Its been on going for a while. I got pulled up on stanley rd near norman park station for a vehicle check about 3 weeks ago (fortunately BEFORE the coilovers went in, not sure I'd pass height now). They were there for a week. Saw them on murphy rd one arvo last week.

It was pretty funny, they asked me to popped the bonnet, looked under then and basically went fsck that and closed it again. From one of the blokes there they're targeting:
- HID's & LED's
- Emissions (part of the report-a-bomb thing)
- 'Safety' issues like too low, bald tyres
- Dodgey things like stripped interiors, jagged outside edges, exposed wiring, leaking fluids

Expect a summons to pineapple st if you get done
