**Blush x10** Thanks guys! but seriously, don't thank me until I get u all to Berrima! THEN I will be able to relax hehehe and have a glass of Champers! lol Though really I have just been the organiser of details. It has been YOU guys who have made the cruise what it is. If it wasn't for your enthusiasm, suggestions, and committment to both AGT & OMC, I prob would have given up awhile ago.
I just hope everyone has a fun, memorable (in the best way possible!) and relaxing day, enjoying the beautiful views and rds of the Sth Coast of NSW and getting lots of happy snaps. I hope ppl enjoy cruising with their AGT/OMC members, putting a few names to faces and not having to worry about getting lost or left behind. Hopefully the sun will be shining, our cars will be purring (I know Kitty's will be!) and the rds will be good to us, so we can have an awesome Annual Cruise for 2006! <Insert cheering and yeeharing here, or...leave it for the pub> Kitty, it's really up to u when u guys head back. The Hume is a skip, hop and handbrakey (i'll show u where lol) from the pub. BUT after lunch, I'm taking those ppl who want to go, up to a camping ground, which is right next to the river, where we can hopefully arrange all the cars for photos. Assuming we get to lunch at 1pm, eat, have a chat and a drink, it'd be about 2.15ish, then 15mins for photos and u can head on your way, say 2.30ish. So u may be pushing it by 4pm, as it's about 1.5-1.75hrs back to Nth Ryde. Then again, u will be in Bruce, so who knows It just really depends on the day.

Oh! and another VERY important thing to note, not that I expect any of our members to be doing so is.....DO NOT SPEED ON THE CRUISE. There is zero tolerance to this guys. DOUBLE DEMERITS applies from the Tues to the Sun, and we also have P platers who have limits of 90 and 100, so we are all to respect this. There is NO rush to get to Berrima, and I would be upset if people did rush, as the whole purpose of a cruise is to enjoy the driving and to take it easy. Here is the blurb from the RTA website:
"Double demerit points are in force over the Australia Day long weekend. This applies to all speeding, seatbelt and motorcycle helmet offences from midnight Tuesday 24 January to midnight Sunday 29 January." Another thing I'd like everyone to take notice of is to use your parking lights or low beams (normal headlights) on the day. For the people upfront who are looking in their rear view mirrors to keep track of who is behind and where they are, it is about 150% easier to find you if you have your headlights on. Trust me, they make the world of difference!

Okay, just confirmed with our lunch destination that we will be there on the day around 1pm. So all is good on that front! Being the Aus Day Weekend, the parking may be tight, so I suggest parking near the Gaol (i'm pretty sure it's secure! lol) or Court House, or parking across the rd on the grass area, where the ground is a bit uneven, but lots of space. I was able to get my car across there with lows, but those with bodykits and super lows (OMGawd! Fully sik!) might choose the street to park.
Good to see you're coming Rob, and have added you to the list. And THANK YOU for supporting my idea of using headlights! The amount of cruises i've co-organised or been on where we've asked for ppl to use their headlights and they haven't, is ridiculous! So yep! Plz use them AND bring UHF radios. If you'd like to purchase some, Tandy or Dick Smiths has them for about $50, and they're always useful on any cruise. I own a GME TX610 and have found it fantastic! Really clear sounds and receives strong reception.
