Ideally aiming for 300hp at the wheels (just because it's a nice round figure), but who knows?
As for paint it'll be a burgundy/red of some sort. Probably with some metal flake in it.

What was it that got your old setup defected Rupe? Is there anything you need to do differently to get around that sort of thing?

But i'll need to do get some new piping made up here and there, and new T2 flanges instead of T3, so not a major amount. And i'm going to try and run the ARC Lantis airbox i've got (as Vic engineering requires only one 'intake' mod, which is the FMIC), but that depends on underbonnet space. Should be doable though.

So, finally got a chance on the weekend to tackle the bodykit a little more. Specifically, the rear lip spoiler.
Had to work out the right shape to suit the lines of the boot, which is a pretty complex corner, and something that looked good, and was something close to the vision in my mind. Just in a rough shape, but you get the idea. Changed just a little from this:

I like how you have tried to follow the lines of the rear bootlid from looking from the top (well looks like you have in this photo:
So whats left to do now bodywise?

Didn't see your post! I've still the front and rear bumpers to do, and the bonnet.
More progress. Filled the aerial hole, using a flexible poly filler. And picked up this to plug in instead - it's an internal aerial, like the Camry uses. Not that i ever really lost a lot of reception by removing the old one, to be honest. This will be of more use in built-up areas though. And finished off the rear lip. I also did a quick mount of the ASC sunroof controls inside the Mazda map light/sunroof control light unit, and it looks alright. At least it's not being held up by the passenger side visor anymore! Plus i've got some goodies from Japan sitting in a box, waiting to go into the interior.

My original bar had a recess cut into it, but the bar itself was a bit rough, so i'm redoing it with the blue one. There will be a fill panel to block all that ugly metal though, and the plate will sit in front of that.
I should probably clean the packaging tape glue off the rear bar one day Like this, more or less (but this is a pic from aaaages ago). But i've redone the rear bumper extensions as i wasn't happy with them - they'll now be separate pieces. As for the aerial, it was one of these, but bought off a guy locally for half the price.

There's a guy at work with a multi-colored-panels 200sx , but I think its deliberate.
He even has fake oversized bandaids on it. |

cant wait to see this thing 100% back together and running with the big engine setup back in. Any idea of body colour yet Dan? I'm assuming it will require a full respray?

It'll be a slightly different engine setup. Still got to tear the engine down and throw some things at it, then get the GT28RS configured for it.
And yeah, full respray to a similar color. Probably a tweaked Ford Seduce as found on the current Falcons

I've got some PAR conrods that have been sitting in the shelf for ages, so they need to go in. And a PAR flywheel, and the LSD gearbox...so once it starts it'll be a big change! But the cost of all that will delay the respray a bit i think.
