problem is most members are you sydney or surrounds.
and actually sydney is more middle for qld and vic guys. according to me trusty penguin touring atlas, melbourne to sydney via the hume = 873km, via princess = 1040km . brisbane to sydney via the new england = 1001km |

yeah bathurst!! but lets try a diff. chinese restaurant. that chicken was wrong....;P and james we must do a trip to the lake/dam windamere 1st, then turn around, come thru illford and go through sofala. that's an awesome rd for cruising on
+ we can all stay at the dodgy knickerbocker hotel....or hill end

Anywhere is good, as long as we get the cars there. The place that the most amount of cars can go would be the best place.
I'm not sure where bathurst is in NSW but if your comparing canberra to sydney in being more central for qld and vic, i think sydney would be better.

bathurst is about a 2hr drive nthwest from syd. syd is boring and way to congested for a cruise. we'd have to travel at least an hr out of syd to get a good cruise going. whereas canberra is a much better planned city with many good cruising rds only minutes from the cbd. hey! i could be a travel agent for cruises hahaha

yeh, canberra has good roads. And the reason it's not congested, is cos there's about 4 million less people, and nothing to do/see. If you wanna come here that's cool. Save's me petrol and money for accomodation.

Canberra's pretty cool my grand parents lived there and it has some awsome roads besides it is pretty centeral after nsw. I am looking foward to the next canberra cruise i regret that i missed the last one but a lack of funds caused that.
How about a cruise around canberra than over to bathurst it would be good to get some photos of the mazdas on conrod straight |

That would be cool tidy protege, maybe for the people returning to Sydney/QLD.
Not sure the Melb peeps would want to go further, but it is always up to them. I am thinking I should run a poll on Oktoberfest and see if people want a cruise in Canberra then or not. It's hard to tell when only a few of us seem to be commenting I guess. Time for all members to put their hands up methinks *I used to ride with a motorcycle club around Maitland and Singleton, out of Williamtown, Maitland is a nice place with a cool old jail and great markets too* primo: nice to see your purty face back on the forums  |

Maitlands not to bad a little quiet for my liking but it has some sweet roads and my old high school was right near the jail youve been to. How many days does Oktoberfest go for
the roads around canberra are pretty awsome i like the road near black mount tower and what else will we be doing at the next cruise. How many big cruises are there a year and where are they normally, i know there is one to newcastle and canberra and sydeny but apart from that what else. May be we should set up a pole for what people want because most of the cruise are centralised around nsw and the act are we forgeting VIC and QLD P.S what are the clubs like in canberra

maybe a coffs harbour etc cruise so we get more qlder's down???
total qld cruises only attract qlder's and the occasional visitor (ie james and kitty). however, when james tells you how good the gold coast is on saturday nights....maybe that'll change people's minds |
