if both rears are not working, i'd be looking at the relay from the main unit in the drivers door.

sorry should clarify, passenger rear hasnt worked since i acquired the car, and only recently drivers rear stopped working...
but i can swear i hear a small click when i try to make the drivers rear window go up...
which leads me to believe dirty terminals?

anyway where would i find the relay? in the door?

I may need new rear brake rotors at some stage this year, i read on here that the SP model have slightly bigger brakes than the normal BG.

I'm sure that they will fit, if someone can confirm this it would be good.

Is it worthwhile getting SP instead? (i have no idea about cost atm)
Will i need different brake pads aswell?

I think the Etudes are cool - and that's definitely a nice one! Much prettier/classier than the standard BFs

well ive gotta put in bottom half of dash, ground the amp, and run the RCA cable somehow through left of car,(power is run through the right under door sills, and carpet) so thinking maybe an hour left of work, admittedly half the time yesterday was tracking problems like the ground wire, not grounding for half an hour to an hour (simple, but had to check every cable to the amp, which meant ripping out the head unit again. then thought it was the rca so replaced it with the other lead in kit (only using 2 of the 4 channels in amp) all this in the dark, with a torch that only worked when shone at the ground

They fit, but endlink tab positions moved on the front struts when the KN/BJII/J48 was released... If you end up with the wrong front shocks, you just get the appropriate endlinks to suit.

and does sedan and hatch change anything?

The J48 came out in May 2002, and AFAIK the BJII had the same endlink position in 2001. But AstroBoy has come across ppl with the older endlinks on BJIIs. But J48 will definitely have the updated endlink position. I got no idea when the KN was released, and I've never worked on them, so you will have to take your chances with them, and order shocks as per your model/VIN, etc...

The Protegé sedan either had different rear springs, or sagged less in the rear due to less weight over the back wheels. Shocks are the same as the hatch though. But I wouldn't go mixing up springs between the two.

they are like neons. you can have them in there, but use them while driving, and it is illegal.
