Bought a new lense for the SLR today, thought I'd take it for a spin.

Learn't later that the lense cap also has a sleeve that I should have removed ops

arp head bolts, apexi head gasket, tomei pro cams, tomei oil relocation block. other bits and pieces. it actually added up to $800 but then the shipping killed it $300 UPS.

had a rare white christmas yesterday and today mum needed to get some groceries, so the "Supergrid" wipers that have been on her Corolla for some time was put to the test! No snow got inside the wipers, no refrozen snow melt got inside the wipers either... the wipers worked immediately and properly once snow as cleared off the windscreen by hand!

Impressive considering these aren't real snow wipers!

just came home from Repco. spent $300 on two new sets of spanners, but also got my broken 1/2" breaker bar replaced, no questions asked. I did say I abused it alot and it took it like a champ until yesterday, but they didn't care, just I'm not allowed to break another one this week haha. LEGENDS. If you ever want tools replaced easily buy Repco (made by sidchrome). warranty is easier. no receipts, any store. no questions.

that's what lifetime unconditional warranty is about
all tools are that way here in the US but that doesn't mean one should go out and buy cheap crap because when they break during the most inopportune time, it's a major inconvenience.... as you aussies might say it, bugger!

When tools break at the most inconvenient time, its more than just "Bugger" for me haha.

I have no tools. I use dads, that he inherited off his dad who was a boat builder. So i've got tools the size of the boat itself, but can you ever think i can find a 12mm socket? You guessed it. Nope.

I would love a decent socket set one day.

But today, i went boxing day sale shopping with a female. Lets just say, never...again...
