Oh, it'll never be finished. But it'll be a lot closer to finished soonish.

After pretty much parking it since Wakefield, i changed the oil and filter, checked the spark plugs, adjusted the idle, reset the front camber, and fitted the engineside undertray after an absence of many years.

So, the latest development is: I've scored a parts car.
This is going to enable me to do a few things to mine without having it off the road, and there's a fair few things i wan to swap onto mine....or use as a basis for further customisation it's a 96 BA Hardtop - BA11F2. V6, full electrics, dual airbags, all that jazz. It is missing the 5 stud hubs though as the guy i bought it off used them for a KH Laser. But with his old 4 stud hubs it drives/rolls....but there's no calipers and no brakes which is a little bit disconcerting! LOL I don't see the point in starting a new thread for it when it's just going to have bits pulled off it and put onto WRECHT. As it sits in the carport now: Covered in hail damage I love the crap you find under the seats in used cars! LOL Expect a 'Wrecking' thread in the for sale section soon!

New toys, thanks to the parity with the US dollar
Brand new MFactory LSD and bearings. It means pulling apart the 'superbox' again, but the upgrade is worth it.

The US for this. But nah, they're only made for G and H series transmissions. LSDs for the F series do exist, but they're ridiculously rare. They were made for the Mazdaspeed Demio/121 Metro A-spec, which ran an F box. RyRy has one in his BA.

Cheaper to get an F Series LSD, if (and it's a big if) you can find one.Much easier to find a G Series LSD, but then you've got the added cost of the G Series box/driveshafts/mounts/clutch.
