I didn't say you were saying it was a bad thing, but lack of a smiley didn't help either
I hope your newborn child is giving you lots of happiness

SO its been way to long since i have updated this. what have i done u might ask..
well not much actually as i bought a Puppy So i actually have done much apart from buying more parts.. but on the weekend i got a hand from a fellow AGT-er Ice88 and we worked on my car and did the flollowing; swapped out my old springs for some shorter one. there still the same 8kg spring rate but just 50mm shorter, so i can lower my car further now.. got the block in and the drive shafts in too.. put my new AWR 95 duro (yes im insane) front and rear mounts in. just got to make the bracket for the driverside mount and for the driveshaft layshaft bearing holder thingo, as pictured below;

So its tht time again,
Updates updates Updates. I swapped all my hubs over to V6 astina hub that i got from fostgate. Sold off my custom front 4 stud hubs and mx5 DBA T3 4000 series dics's to Mc willy. Hope he injoys those bad boys ans they served my proud for a good 2000kms. I have found that one of my drive shafts wont remove it self from my toyota box. so i have rang my gearbox builder and he is oing to remove it for me. so what i have dont in the mean time is just pull apart the CV joint and left the CV cub in the box. I also picked up a set of MS-01's 17x8. they need tires but the 8 inch of rubber should stop any unwanted traction issues Got my manifolt plates to for the EVO 8 turbo i will be running at the end of the year. just need to weld them into place and post them back to Brae so he can complete the pipe work Now for the big news MY motor is back from the Engine builders YAY so now its time to assemble that and get it ready to go into the car. im looking at going thru micca's build thread and doing a bit of reading up on whats needed and so on. I just bought a house so i only just moved into it this weekend. hoping to get the car finished by october or even before Jamboree. but there is still alot to do; - remove box and dummy block from engine bay - prep engine bay for respray - assemble motor - put motor in car with toyota box - fix up the driverside engine mount bracket and lay shaft bracket - tidy up the fuse box wiring - get new front and rear disc's - get new tires for my new rims As for ECU and turbo setup. im going to be running a full BPT Japspec ecu and injectors and MAF but i havnt decided if im going to run my Vj20 or VF8 turbo straigh away as its a freash engine. any ideas on what i should do??? but im saving some pennies for a Adaptronic 440D (as its PNP) and to get the evo turbo on, thats what this motor was originally built for.. anyway i'll post up some pictures later this week. Mat
