There was a GB for custom keyboard keycaps over on Geekhack that took over a year to gather, pay for, get made up, and shipped to buyers. The ordering system was needlessly complicated, keycaps were axed because of lack of interest, and so on and so forth. But the extras sell like hotcakes. I put it down to the excessive complexity of the group buys themselves. Rupe would be THE man to go through to do something like this but having to deal with Cusco and then having to wait for the ship would have been a pain in the ass. Another thing is the newbies signing on too late and then jump on the extras because the regulars are too busy hurting with all the other **** they buy on the forums. I would be the former If watching Geekhack GBs tell me anything, it's: *Make it a singular item. *Specify the minimum order, and probably have a maximum too. *Have a quick cutoff date, i.e. two weeks. *If the items are small enough, then get them expressed over. Having said that who wants to do a EL gauges GB from astina.dk |

which is why it gives people like me the ****s coz I like to pay the full ammount upfront as soon as I possibly can.
Also makes it annoying for rupe as he has to deal with myself and others whining! Lol Anyways... Can't bloody wait glad they are on the way! Big cheers to dan as usual for doing a great job and organising/ running the GB

You can't complain too much. Because you won't get the deal without the numbers. Especially in small community of members overall. Willing to part with the money. Not saying it makes it right but sometimes you won't get any group buy happening if you don't allow for others who may not be able to pay straight up. PS DAN - no need to tell me about it. You know normal drill with me. |

Cusco don't make a rear tower bar for P5 unfortunately - only AutoExe and Carbing (in terms of JDM stuff).

As i said with Phil, if there's an exact day it will arrive, ship it to my place as there's more room, and the courier doesn't have to cart it through the shopping centre!
