Hey guys,

Got my new wheels and king springs fitted today however I think they're scrubbing on the rears - not sure - just weird sounds coming from the rear - mainly the passenger side rear. Should i get my guards rolled? If so what does this involve and will it change the look of my rear wheel arch flares?

Thanks

Sal

well i would guess you r scrubbing just look for marks on ur tyres about where the guard would hit
most off the guys have had to roll there guards for the same reason i think it costs about $20 to $40 a guard but it will not change the look as they just roll the inner lip but dont get sum bodgy to do it because they can crack the paint

good to see its coming together for you sal

pics??? !!!

sounds good, my springs made a ****e load of noise in the rear (even after i took the body out) has settled down a lot now..... i'm guessing the springs need to bed in a little bit?

but given those wheels... how wide are they??

more importantly, did the offset they said fit or did they have to change it?

I'm not sure about the offset. They fit in there although the rears do stick out further than the guards.. looks like i'm going to have to do some sucking up to those mr policemen! But I'm happy. The springs have settled down a bit now and the scrubbing isn't as major as I thought - only on big tight corners. Will get the guards pumped maybe in the future not sure about that.

But guess what guys I have been asked to show it at the Brisbane Autosalon!!

they stick out further than the guards? that's bad. bad bad bad. obviously the offset it way off for that to happen.

but good to see you'll be at the bris autosalon! i wonder how many sp20's will be there???
