yes, but they're not ADR or ECE compliant and the beam pattern is for right hand traffic (wrong side of the road)... in fact, I doubt they have any compliancy at all, which brings doubts of legality in most developed countries. If you look at the pic gallery from their site, you will see what I mean. Besides that point, you really get what you pay with lighting, just like anything... quality, well manufactured optics don't come cheap! If you are after well performing headlamps (I presume that's the intention, since you want HIDs), you will need to do some research and select something good and legal.

I'm afraid you will have to stick to buying parts locally, from the UK, Japan, or any other country of your choosing that has left hand traffic (correct side of the road).... While it is remotely possible to buy LHT lighting equipment in RHT countries (such as the US), it will take a long time and may even be more expensive... oh, and I recommend you find ECE compliant projectors so that it meets ADR's requirements in order to avoid those nasty defect violations

becareful also of which ECE regulations a particular projector complies to.... if it complies to r19, they are fog lamps... if they comply with r98, then that is what you want

Um not sure if you clicked the link, but these are also made for rhd cars, besides nothing in this thread is legal

Haha yeah I was a little upset when I saw that Marc

Still happy with how mine came out and it was a good project. When I do a project car I'll definitely be throwing some of the Minis in there though

Yeah they all come in RHD as well and to make projectors legal in Australia they need autolevelling and washers. Neither of which I had but who's going to know?

that's why you stick to 4300 kelvin as oem fitments use
if you want the blue of the higher kelvin associated with lost light output then expect the blue and red in the rear view
in short as with any other mod be sensible about it

oops, didn't see that
but I still question its quality and the beam pattern

$120 is cheap for sure, but if I was going through the trouble of fitting projectors into my headlamps, I would spend extra to get ECE approved projectors instead... they're illegal here, but ECE approved equipment is a general good rule of thumb for good, SAFE performance (there are bad and good ones too of course)

I should've asked you around thanksgiving (America) theretrofitsource had them on sale for $80 a pair. If you got a group buy going I'd dare say you could get them down that low again. Plus shipping would be split, and if it cost under $100 total I'd get a pair

Hey mate, yeah that's cool, a photo would be a massive help!! And on every other HID kit I've ever installed it's had the 3 pin connector that draws power from the female 3 pin connector in the cars loom. Do you remember those links you gave me with the ballast and some wires, with those parts I'm not seeing that I have that 3 pin plug to draw power from..??

Any help would be greatly appreciated mate, very keen to get them in!
