94/97 mx5 cam pos. sensor.

My latest engine combo will require aftermarket management (tps tuning, hint) and i would like to fit the exhuast cam mounted cam position sensor and coil setup from the 94/97 mx5. Everything is all bolt up and boogie.. but id like to know if there are problems i will run into when selecting/tuning an ecu.
There are coil over plug options and cdi,hei examples out there... Bang for buck option of avoiding internal coil setup?

Thats the plan. More looking for wiring problems etc when not using a plug n play style ecu like adaptronic. Are there ecus i should avoid and such. Will the cam sensor provide a signal that is readable to most ecus...jeez this always turns into a piece of string question! ive researched the market and come out more confused.

seeing as there's many EMS solutions for the MX-5, I seriously doubt there is one that can't accept the MX-5 BP's CAS signals
