FS: [NSW] Guitar Amp
Hi all,
I know it's not astina related or car related at all... but just in case someone is interested... i have a Marshall AVT50 (50Watt) Guitar Amplifier for sale... it has two fully independant footswitchable channels running through a valve pre-amp and solid state power amp a 12" Celestion custom voiced speaker, effects loop, cd input, head phone output, DI output and also has reverb. If you're after a tube sounding amp that is not too big for bedroom practice, not too small for small gigs and light on the pocket then this is for you. This is a fantastic amp but it is time for an upgrade so this one has to go. I bought this amp brand new 3 1/2 years ago for $999 which saved me about $200 off retail. I am selling it for $400 or nearest offer. It weighs 17 or 18kg and contains fragile tubes so it's most practical for local pickup. But i will post it at sellers cost and risk. Cheers. |

If you are going to freight it pull the tubes out and wrap them in bubble wrap and put them in the back of the amp. It should be rugged enough for freighting. I have to put amps on and off planes all the time and they normally survive the Qantas baggage handlers without having to remove the tubes but best to be safe. You can mark each tube and its corresponding socket so the new owner knows where to put them back in.

I have the AVT100 (100W), and these are really choice amps!!! They aren't as loud as a Pevey, but the sound quality is lightyears better. I suggest you would be nuts not to get this while you can.
2 Thumbs up from Gav! |
