game itself is **** but it is very power consuming. if your comp can run it on high you have a decent gaming/visual proccessing machine, and if it can run it on v high its excelet

sorry to go off topic
What's needed to run it on this very hi - would like a Ge force 9800 GX 2 be like good enough it's one product I'm looking at
or this one Gigabyte ATI HD4870X2. only reason I ask last PC I built for my family had a 1gb version I'm thinking the 2gb for me. I don't game but I like knowning I've got the ability to not worry about it.

I just need HDMI output so I can remove some cable.

back on topic a little

I just heard from a good buddy of mine in our great government that, If we do get another hand out - it won't be for everyone this time out. that's what he's recommending.

So spend it wisely. As Being the nerdy accountant type who warned me I should stop shopping in japan. ( like that could ever happen)
He said to me 2 years Ago things don't look good. Predicted this. (note he was not part of the current government, just an anylisst he was told to Shut up and sent on assingment in Tasmania)
He keeps telling me and others to get use to tight times.

I hope he's wrong. but then again I grew up in the early 90's Stealing "Things" to get buy. It's funny to think heading down that way again for some people.

i dunno what would run it on Vhigh smoothly, i got a 8800 GTS 512 ( bout the 512) but i built this computer when crysis came out (nearly 2 years ago) and if ran with that card and 4gb of ram and a 3gh amd 62 dual it lags noticably if number of bodys is set to max. but if its set to low, and not played near water, than its fine. if played near water on v high everything but low bodis it will lag onyl on fast turning.. hope that answers ur question

Card wont do it alone. Im not sure what specs a stock system would need to run it at very high but id take a guess at:

4870 GDDR4 (the important bit), or X2. 9800s are **** house.
2-4GB RAM
Dual Core (or High Clocked Quad) - Pref Intel as they own atm.
Decent Motherboard.

Should do it. My system was miss matched bits n pieces and Crysis didnt really push it too much. There are games out now that are just as good With a story line to boot!

If you want a game that will tax even the beefiest of rigs (i could barely get 20 fps) try CM9 for HL2

I'm saving mine for a rainy day or towards a new car for when mine finally decides to die!

I know where my boyfriends money is going... his car!

Silly to think it would go anywhere else really lol.
