Fpv Gt-p (bf)

I got a ride in a BA GT once, and that was just incredible... anyone been in these newer models? The car just takes up with monstrous torque and incredible speed, the sound of the engine revving is just blissful to my ears, the first two shifts putting you back into your seat as you accelerate way into the high 100's before changing to 4th gear. I noticed something with the BA that Ive heard from other people. It DOES feel slow and then you look at the speedo and your like OMG! It was something else.

So anyway, was wondering if anyones experienced the new beast?

Many times, however I love the Typhoon better. After driving both I agree with all the reviews, The Typhoon is just as fast if not faster and handles better as well. Plus the Typhoon has plenty of potential. If my brothers EF can be producing 260kw atw with a similar sized turbo on 9psi, I'm sure there's plenty to get out of the Barra.....

But, I gotta admit I still have a soft spot for a nice sounding Ford V8 at full noise. It didn't help growing up with an old man obsessed with 460 cubic inches....

Does he give you crap now about your little "rice burner" that you drive?
My old man is exactly the same, the bigger the better, and must have carbys
Until I took him for a ride in my mates S14, and he couldn't believe it was only a 2L! I think I converted him a little that day

He has always know how good the little cars are, although he still calls them rice burners. He was surprised how well my car went and handled though...

But I do agree with him that there is no substitute for cubic inches when you're talking about an all purpose car. Of course modern factory turbo engines are slowing changing that.

Hi everyone - havent been here for a while, but its good to be back!

Ok, it was a BA, not a BF, but through work i managed to get a ride with Will Davison around Mt Panorama (at 60km/hr) in a Typhoon in the week leading up to last years Bathurst 1000.

Thats an experience i won't soon forget - the lap, and the car, the pull of the car (even up to 60) out of forrests elbow is incredible!
