Major Cause of Rattling
hey guys, got my sound system done on the weekend got new splits, headdeck and a sub/amp. The sub and amp are only basic(not very powerful) and im experiencing a lot of rattling coming from the boot. Inside the car it sounds alright, but then when you step out of the car all you can hear is a rattle.
I have a 97 BA astina and i want to know what is the major cause of rattling in the BA? Also what has been the major cause in other people's BA's? |

I had this aswell.
Its one of a few things, either the back panel ( between the tailights ) the number plate, or the spoiler if you have one. Or it could even be anything to do with the spare tire or tools with it. Just trial and error |

before you check anything else take your plates off and try it then, if its rattles less, go to a glazing suplier and get some of those little clear rubber legs you see on glass tables and stick them along the edges of your licence plate, at least on the oposite sides where it is screwed in, and it should rattle less from there, i found that ws my main rattler
