IS the CAI day still happening even though u mite get water sucked into your engine :? (i'm a paranoid one aren't i)

I was just thinking... you guys need a webcam or maybe one of those digital cameras that can take short MPEG movies.. then have video of the day or maybe a live 'HOW TO CAI' uplink... or maybe the cold and flu drugs are just getting to me and i'm just talking nonsense...

Foxy...

Yes, Melbourne CAI day went ahead. Adam will post up a dull report (assuming he took it).

Just thought I'd post up some information. With my car, I only noticed small changes after installing the tubing to the air filter. Didn't think it was that big a deal. But, during the course of driving last night I needed to use my air conditioner just to speed up the demisting process. To my very pleasent surprise, the car barely lost any power at all with the air con unning, even when firing into the cabin not up the window. So for this reason and this reason alone, I am very happy with the results obtained from the Melbourne CAI day.

No its definetely meant to be Dull Report... im assuning this means nothing much happened... u know... he make the funny.. HA ha..... ha.

Cant tell you if my CAI did anything cos due to a small leak between my cat and engine pipe im currently the victim of minor power losses... OK so the whole thing sheared off... IT WAS THE EXHAUST MAN I SAY...

Sigh. Be all betterer on Thursday..... Oh and if anyway gets a new exhaust fitted, make sure they put a flex join between the engine pipe and cat or you fate is certainly determined. Damn strong steel....

PUBLIC HEALTH WARNING: Several beers went into the making of this message.

Peace Out.

Well, the 2nd melb CAI day went ok!

It started raining at about 9:30...and didn't stop all day, but there was room in the carport to do any work that needed to be done.

These people turned up:
MrPayner - Adam, with the Sparkle Green 1.8 BA Hatch
SehnKahn - Boyd, with his Hindi
Dogo - Dave, with the Sparkle Green V6 BA Hatch
Fuzzy Dice - Gareth, with the Black N14 Pulsar
Primo - Mikey, with the Noble Green 1.8 BA Hatch
Memphis - Jace, with the White BG Astina SP
Trav - with the filthy Noble Green 1.8 BA Hatch

Missing in Action:
CiTyEnd - Noble Green 1.8 BA Hardtop
oh, and my good health. bah!

Things that actually got done:
CAI to MrPayners car
CAI to SehnKahns car

doing Boyds was amusing - with Trav and I just telling Boyd to 'walk away and don't look back!' as we removed his radiator...
