I have not seen a workshop manual for a AUS spec BJII-J48 yet
But I have found this
http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Mazda_Guide/Protege_5
Which is a link to a few handy guides and the US owners and workshop manual.

it will be right mate. I run e10 in mine every so often, dont even notice anything difference between e10 and normal unleaded. I only feel a difference between normal and high octain.

Bookworks has repair manuals for this model. I got the engine manual, service manual supplement and wiring diagram supplement. These had the info I needed. $$$ if you want the entire manuals! I mostly use the Protege5 service and parts manuals in PDF from other Mazda sites.

Sleepy,

Do you reckon you could post or PM the wiring diagram for the gauge cluster?

Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

Would those wiring manuals (or the others for that matter, too) have anything about coding keys to the cars security immobilisor? Reason I ask is that the pro5's dont have RFID chips in there keys, whereas we do..., and I want to add more keys to my security system
