I need a crash course in car audio!

Hey guyz, i have been out of the site for a whille, been busy with work and stuff.

Well i really need a complete dummies guide to car audio! I know very little about car audio and would like to know more! I.e. speaker selections, sound deading, component speakers, custom sub enclosers (spelling?) and a few other advanced things.
I want to know this cause i am planning on doin a complete system overhaul, i am ditchin my full sony Xplod system and wanna go some thing better! I am leanin toward eclispe equipment but i want to know more about car audio b4 i continue.

So can any1 help me, suggeust a book, or a web page that may been a big help.
