Smile Drove 12 hours to get my Astina!

Then 12 hours back! lol, but it was worth it :P

Anyway hi my name's Jay, a proud owner of a 1997 323 Astina "BA" (or whatever it's technical name is in different countries lol) 5D Hatchback, couple photos here

Just got it's RWC today after much money poured into fixing the bugger (previous owners love to leave vital repair information out when selling...), but wasn't too big a hassle to fix, great car, glad I got it

Recently just added blue LED parkers, and bought a few other blue LED's for the interior and license lights which should turn up shortly, should look pretty cool , just trying to fix the headlight adjuster, then possibly get some of those blue tinge white zenons I think they're called.

And a few other mods on my wishlist, like a rear wing/spoiler, tinted windows, 17/18" mags some time down the track among other things.

So g'day to all you mazda fanatics out there!

Jay.

Always a worry, but I held onto the original bulbs, I can't see why these mods would be a big deal though, I've seen plenty of blue light cars getting about lol, and that's the blue tinged lights I meant, not the fully blue, not much point to that really lol :S, except for photoshoots perhaps? :P

Cheers.

Welcome!
From where did you pick the car up, and drive it home to?

Got it from sydney, which seems to be the Astina capitol lol, and drove it back just over the QLD border, I do NOT recommend the new england highway! talk about pot holes galore... so lucky we didn't blow a tyre.

And they are just wheel covers to replace the fugly ones it already had lol, getting real rims as soon as my old car is sold

Cheers guys.

Standard wing looks alright, but I'm leaning towards something bigger if possible. =]
