Alot of people seem to rave about the RS's. They seem to be the go for the money.
I still want a RA1 or a R888 but they will be no good unless they are warm, i dont particularly want to be constantly warming my tyres up T1R from the Toyo is good aswell i hear, i heard from tyre power at slacks creek that there is no better tyre out, not even the KU31.... |

BS! I drove home from the drags in the WET with my RA1s, and I could still submarine under braking on the hwy in heavy rain.
The 595RS look like really nice tyres, I would dearly love for someone to give them a try! |

nah, what i am saying is they have to be warm to really excell, not the length of time it takes for them to warm up..
a street tyre will take longer to warm up but will still be very good when cold aswell. |

i have used these tyres. i do and i don't like them. mainly i find them a better wet weather tyre than a dry tyre. compound is alittle too soft for QLD temps and they kinda go poop with the heat. on wet days it is cooler and they hold up quite well.

i cannot say whether they are or not. i'm only going on my experiences with said tyres in question. but i have found the KU31s were much better for me.
the federals you were talking about are also very good tyres from what i hear. but do not confuse the 595R with the 595RS. |

I like the look of the 595EVO - the thick bit of rubber that runs down the middle of the tyre tread will give great stablity on a FWD car where the power vs. steering issues happen. I have the same thick bit of tread on my KU31s.

thats kinda interesting. 3-6 degree camber setting... they seem to recommend a significant camber.

thats one excellent article, and the links to wet weather traction and buffing explain a lot too.

I think the camber suggested is for the circuit, not the street. 1.8 degrees is enough for my car.

yeah thats a pretty good write up on that toyo site. some very good useful info. help put all that info into/about there motorsports tyres and usage in motorsports.
i run 1.5 degrees camber on my street car. if i had a solely motorsport car, i'd be running 3-4 degrees camber. ryan |

i had g3s on my rolla and they were a dam good tyre... soft like a semi slick and grippy in the rain and minimal sidewall flex.... unfortunantly they dont make them anymore but they might still have stock left in some places.....
The g3s are replaced by re001 adrenalins which i heard are awesome.. anybody used them and anyone used toyo proxes 4?
