[color=#000000:post_uid0]can anyone help me, Im hoping to put a 1.8L dohc turbo (from a gtx I suppose) into my 91 323 astina, does anyone have info on this type of conversion and where in melbourne I might find someone to do it?[/color:post_uid0]

If you are paying someone to do it the going rates at the moment arent pretty...

I did my conversion in a mates garage and it cost me $5500 so add the labour onto that...

That price doesnt include a heavy duty clutch or BOV[/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]yep, if you already have someone to do the conversion, go and see AllMaz in Clayton (Clayton Rd i think too) about sourcing a GTX engine. last time i checked they actually had one there.

if you want someone to do the whole thing for you, go and see Rank Rotary/Mazworks in Mentone. they're the boys who did the conversion to my car, and they've done a great job

you'll find that not many people want to touch an astina (as i found) and if they do, they'll want to use a Microtech computer which isn't exactly the best around...Rank use Wolf, but will use others if you ask...except Microtech ::
