those are JDM MSF pedal covers, they are bolted on, 100% road legal
they're no longer made but there are about a dozen sets of old stock still scattered across the US at various dealers... the foot rest is a separate piece and it's even more rare, so even harder to find

what happened to it?

good work mate
now before you hack off the factory connectors, I think I found the male connectors that will plug into the factory female coilpack connectors... this will ensure the mod is 100% reverseable... you just make a jumper wire loom

I removed it as it was in the way of the dipstick (came off a bj1 with front dipstick)

ugh
the master cylinder stopper was functional, and you had to cut it off this rare part?
who cares about the dipstick... move it or get the FS dipstick tube!

here are the connectors
DIY kit:
http://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/pro...oducts_id/2077
solder on version:
http://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/pro...oducts_id/2078

I will order a set for myself also, just in case in the future I decide to switch to Toyota COPs

there is a $3 small order surcharge unless the order exceeds $15 ($7.49 + 7.49 does not)
would you like me to place a larger order along with yours so that we save on the surcharge?
