Yes I was in Chernobyl last year and it was interesting and unusual experience for me. I know many information about radiation and geiger counter. I found it on https://ecotestgroup.com/press/blog/...eiger-counter/ A Geiger counter produces a “tick” or click when significant radiation is observed. You can easily get a 15-25 CPM (counts per minute) in your natural surroundings. When a radioactive particle goes through the Geiger- Muller tube, it completes the circuit and produces the sound. Its old but reliable radiation measuring tool.

t's look at the different kinds of radiation. There are four major types of radiation: alpha, beta, neutrons, and electromagnetic waves such as gamma rays. They differ in mass, energy and how deeply they penetrate people and objects.
