1.8gt manual gearbox problem

mazda 323f astina 1.8gt manual gearbox problem. Does anyone know what kind of gearbox can be fit perfectly instead the original, because in malta it s very difficult to find any.

the BG 323 saloon and hatchback GT/GTI models with the 1.8l motors have the same gearbox
but that's about it as far as what's available in Europe

hi thanks for msg me but in malta its abig broblem to find one.they tolld me or mazda 626 20 petrol gearbox or kia shuma 16 twincam maybe it will fits but they are not shore.

the 626 never used the BP engine, so the gearbox will not fit, even though it's the "same"

there was the 94-97 kia sephia/mentor gearbox also fits... but you have to make sure it used the BP motor... it is considered an upgrade to the 323 but you will need driveshafts from it also
