Anyone keen for an Adelaide Cruise??
I havent been a member on here long but for ages I have been thinking about trying to get together an Adelaide cruise. Is anyone else keen for this in the next couple of months, for example a cruise up through the hills to Victor or something along the same sort of lines?

Hi OFLA,
Am not into cruises as my wife thinks I'm too much of a rev head these days especially now that i have a 17 month old daughter too. Though we do the occasional family run to Barossa and into the hills, but again that is with family tagging along. Though am interested in checking out other SP20's here in Adelaide to see what mods have been done and what else CAN be done etc... I've noticed heaps going on in other states etc.... and wish i had the $$$ like they do but just can't keep up. Though after all that, am now looking at importing carbon fibre tail lights from US. I'm hoping to fund this by selling my stock lights to wreckers or Mazda so they can sell to others who have had their lights damaged etc... And later the intake and exhaust cams to improve kw. anyway I'll check the posts to see if you have replied. Claude

Likewise on the $$ situation. I think some of us adelaide ppl need to get a SA thing going for Astina GT. Im gona get a sticker made up soon, possibly this w/e and also some of the cards so I can put them on Cars i see parked. Theres a few modded SP20's ive seen around, just need to get their attention :? Your numberplate isnt WIKSTR by anychance is it?

Righto, I think its time for us to get our gear together. I will organise a cruise for our SA members if there is a following for an event here. i am quite active with members of FordLaser.com so they may possibly join. If you are keen then please post an interest in this thread and I will organise something to go ahead.
I just think that SA is one of the least most repesented states and that we should start gettin out there. There is plenty of modded astinas over here, so if you guys are down for it let me know!

 Welcome aboard all Adelaidean's. I bought my BA Astina in Adelaide and drove it to Canberra. Adelaide is a great place and I loved living there. On my last visit, I caught up with some really cool guys from the XR 6 Turbo forums. I will visit and say g'day next time I'm in Adelaide and you can get something going |

How old are all the SA members ?
I feel that I might be over the hill and only thing in common would be owning a Mazda. Right.....I'll go first, I 'm 34. p.s. Mr323 what colour/mods have you done to your 323 ? I live in Pine Lakes in Parafield Gardens so you may have heard my yellow Sp20 crusing the northern suburbs once in a while.

CMON.... Lets get this moving :)
Hey guys, just recently bought a 1996 BA hardtop and was interested in getting out there with the fellow astina owners and seeing what they've done to their cars. Mine is basically stock with alloys and only aftermarket thing installed is a pair of pioneer 6"x9" at the back and two pairs of alpine 5"x7"s OR 6"x9"s (havent checked yet) and the stock 4" center speaker. hopefully we can arrange for a cruise up through the hills one day... bring friends or whatever and just have a good day. Let me know how it goes...(I am more than happy to help co-organise a day as long as there are enough people interested). Also i am 18 yrs old just to answer the q that u posed earlier...

Would also be good to get people to put photos up in the My Garage part so we can see what we all drive. I did it with my mobile, nothing that flash but you get the idea. A cruise would be good, but i've been told that i'd be going by myself, my wife is passed all that now that she is sensible and driving a statesman.

I'll get some pics as soon as possible... I'm looking at doing a few minor mods to the car (either a sub and amp, another 2 spkrs or some LED's or neons.. both undercar and incar), does any1 kno how to install any or all of the above and if they are legal? Also please try get more astina owners from SA to join astinagt so we can organise a cruise and enjoy some company of fellow mazda owners... u never know who u could meet and what u could have in common....
